HAZLETON – U.S. Congressional candidate Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta issued the following statement in the wake of Tuesday’s primary election:
“I am very grateful for and humbled by the support I have received from the voters of northeastern Pennsylvania in this Primary Election. “This evening, I called Congressman Kanjorski to congratulate him on his victory in the Primary and to tell him that I look forward to a spirited race in the General Election. “I am hopeful that this election can remain positive and free from outside influences. The voters of the 11th Congressional District deserve a race worthy of the people we want to represent.” ### |
