Lou Barletta
And thank you for taking the time to find out about my campaign for a better Northeast Pennsylvania and a better America.

My campaign is about effective leadership on the pressing issues facing all of us today. The economy, jobs, housing crises, healthcare, energy policy and yes, illegal immigration.

But most importantly my campaign is about courage. The courage to stand up when other elected officials in Washington will not.

The courage to draw a line in the sand.

The courage to stand up to the flawed federal policies that have brought our country to the brink of a recession, cost NEPA good paying jobs and strained family budgets to the breaking point.

The courage to stand up and make our government face the music on our country’s huge deficit and national debt which are crippling the American family today and saddling our children with a debt so massive it will take generations to pay off.

The courage to stand up to big mortgage companies to force them to provide relief to families and seniors struggling not to lose, what for many, is their biggest investment - the homes they worked so hard for.

The courage to fight to protect America from those who want to harm us.

And the courage to stand up to the problem of illegal immigration that affects every part of our lives. It overburdens our health care system and raises the cost of health care. It overburdens and raises the cost of our local schools. It overburdens our police forces and local government services driving up government spending and taxes. It weakens our national security.

It’s finally time to say “enough.” It’s time for leaders with the courage to tell it like it is.

If you have any questions about where I stand on the issues, or have a comment or would like to help on my campaign please click on the Donate to the Campaign or Volunteer buttons.

Thank you again for your time. I hope you will join me in my fight to stand up for a better America.
