Former White House Physician and Senior Advisor to President Trump calls Barletta "the only candidate who can unite conservatives and the Trump base"
Hazleton, PA - Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, the leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, today announced the formal endorsement of Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13). Rep. Jackson is a retired Navy Rear Admiral, former White House Physician and Senior Advisor to President Donald J. Trump, and current Congressman for one of the most pro-Trump congressional districts in the country.
"Lou Barletta is the only candidate for governor of Pennsylvania who can unite conservatives and the Trump base, and is the most qualified candidate to win this critical battleground state," said Congressman Ronny Jackson. "It is important for the people of Pennsylvania – Joe Biden’s so-called “home state” - to have a governor like Lou Barletta who can protect Pennsylvanians from an incompetent and cognitively unfit Biden administration that is destroying our country. Lou Barletta has an impressive track record of accomplishment and will repeal the disastrous universal mail-in balloting system that destroyed voter confidence in Pennsylvania. I look forward to playing an active role in his campaign to help him win."
“I am grateful for Rep. Ronny Jackson's support and for his distinguished service to President Trump and the citizens of our great country," said Barletta. "Just as we appreciate our strong conservative leaders in Congress, in Pennsylvania we must have a governor who has the backbone to stand up to the Biden administration and protect us from his destructive policies. We know that Josh Shapiro would roll over for Biden, because he has failed to defend Pennsylvania already. Biden has attacked our energy industries, inflicted unconstitutional vaccine mandates on our workers, paid people not to work, and secretly flown illegal aliens into our communities. When I’m governor, I will shine a light on all of these offensive policies from Washington, D.C. and fight for the rights of the law-abiding, tax-paying citizens of our great Commonwealth.”
