Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, today announced the formal endorsement of the Chairman of the Beaver County Board of Commissioners Dan Camp. Camp becomes the latest prominent Pennsylvania conservative to throw his support behind Barletta's surging campaign over the last several days as Pennsylvania conservatives have rallied behind Barletta as the best candidate to defeat Josh Shapiro in November.
“Western PA deserves a seat at the table and with Lou Barletta as governor, we’ll get one,” said Beaver County Commissioner Dan Camp. “We have a fantastic opportunity to reverse Gov. Wolf’s policies and access our vast energy resources, but it will take electing a Republican in November. That means we must nominate a Republican candidate who can actually beat Democrat Josh Shapiro. In my view, that candidate is Lou Barletta, and I endorse him completely.”
