Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, today announced the formal endorsement of former Congressman Keith Rothfus. Rothfus is the latest in a growing number of key endorsements coalescing behind Barletta's campaign over the last 72 hours including: Senate Pro Tempore and former gubernatorial candidate Jake Corman, former Congresswoman and gubernatorial candidate Melissa Hart, Congressman Fred Keller, former US Senator Rick Santorum, former governor Mark Schweiker, former Lt. Governor Jim Cawley, Senate Majority Whip John Gordner, Senator Tommy Tomlinson, Senator Bob Mensch, Senator John DiSanto, Representative Kurt Masser, Representative Doyle Heffley, and the Columbia County Republican Committee, amongst others.
"I encourage my fellow Republicans to vote for Lou Barletta for governor," said Congressman Keith Rothfus. "I saw first-hand Lou fight for our conservative principles in Congress. As Governor, Lou will continue the fight for a free and prosperous economy, PA energy, the right to life, and the 2nd Amendment. On election reform, Lou is the one to vote for. Lou did not vote for the mail-in voting law, which the PA Commonwealth Court recently found to be unconstitutional. Before you vote, check to see if your candidate voted for that unconstitutional law."
