Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, announced yet another key endorsement in Lancaster County as Mount Joy Borough Mayor Tim Bradley formally endorsed Barletta's campaign. Bradley comes on board Barletta's team as State Senator and former gubernatorial candidate Scott Martin (R-Lancaster) publicly endorsed Barletta earlier in the day citing the need for the party to unify behind a candidate capable of winning a general election.
"It would be great to have a former mayor in the governor’s office, because Lou Barletta understands what our cities, counties, and towns face on a daily basis," said Mayor Tim Bradley. "This election represents an opportunity to get Pennsylvania back on the right track, but only if we nominate a Republican candidate who can beat Josh Shapiro in the fall. Lou Barletta is that candidate and I strongly and enthusiastically endorse him.”
