Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, today announced the formal endorsement of State Senator Tommy Tomlinson (R-Bucks). Tomlinson's endorsement comes on the heels of Senate Majority Whip John Gordner and Senator Lisa Baker's endorsement of Barletta signaling a coalescing of Republican support behind Barletta's surging grassroots campaign.
“Lou Barletta has the opportunity to be a transformational governor for Pennsylvania and I’m proud to endorse him,” said Sen. Tommy Tomlinson. “Lou is a man of impeccable character who has demonstrated that he is not afraid to fight for the people he was elected to represent. I’m proud to join my other Senate colleagues in endorsing Lou Barletta to be Pennsylvania’s next Governor.”
